Happy Hooker 3

Locker Hooked rugs use up tons of fabrics strips. What a great way to use up fabrics that you have stashed! About 11 yards of fabric per rug means that these are super soft under your feet. They are soft and flexible, which means that washing them is easy. The book includes different designs. Requires a Locker Hook, twine and canvas mesh. We are currently out of the canvas but will have more soon, so please check back!

Jane's New Book,

"Quilting in the Country"
was reviewed in the November 2007 issue of the Quilter Magazine,
and here is what they had to say...

"Quilting in the Country, Jane Quinn's gem of a quilt shop, may be tucked away in Bozeman, Montana, but that hasn't prevented visitors from around the world from flocking to her door! Located on a century-old farmstead, the shop has received national recognition as one of the ten best quilt shops in America. Jane herself has designed many of her own quilt patterns and is the author of four cookbooks. Those two loves, quilting and cooking, were blended together in her latest book, Quilting in the Country. The projects range from small items, such as table runners and tea cozies, to larger pieces, such as lap-size and full-size quilts. All are beautifully photographed in homey settings. Jane also included a generous assortment of recipes throughout (these too are beautifully photographed) for everything from turkey salad to sugar cookies. A scrumptious and entertaining treat for quilters who love to cook!"

Rugs from Rags
by Country Threads

Jane has loved making these rugs since she was a girl. This simple process uses up lots of fabric strips. The book describes how to make the frames that are required in several different sizes.

Jane had a friend make some frames in case you don't want to make your own. Call QIC at 406-587-8216 to inquire about the prices and sizes available.

There is now a DVD available if you like to have some extra visual help. The DVD does not replace the book, but is meant to be an addition to the book.
